What are the delivery charges for orders from the Online Shop?

Delivery is a flat rate of $9.95 Australia wide

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunatly we do not yet ship internationally.

Are the insects real?

Yes, all of the specimens are 100% real and unaltered. The colourings are completely natural and have not been enhanced in anyway. As the insects are a natural product small imperfections may occur.

How long will my specimen last? Will it deteriorate over time?

Every specimen has been professionally preserved by hand. Please keep your framed insect in a dry place, out of direct sunlight. This will prevent mould and help prevent book lice. AllĀ of the framed insects are permanently mounted to the backboard and cannot be removed without causing damage to the specimen, please do not attempt to remove the insect from its frame. As this is a natural product book lice may occur in your frame. Book lice are present in most environments. These tiny insects can be detected by black dust underneath the bug. If this occurs immediately place frame inside a plastic bag and put into freezer for a minimum of 72 hours. Correct care for your framed specimen will ensure many years of enjoyment. Monitoring your specimen is recommended. We are unable to replace due to lack of correct care methods described above.

Do you kill the insects yourself?

No, we do not kill the insects ourselves, and all of our specimens are ethically sourced from around the world and are CITES compliant.

Do you stock any Australian Species?

We stock a wide, ever-changing range of specimens, and whilst we do sometimes have species which can be found living in Australia, we do not stock specimens which have been collected in Australia.

Do you offer custom orders?

Is there an insect you would like that we don’t currently have in stock? or do you have an insect combination in mind that we haven’t offered on the site yet? Send us an email with your ideas and we can create something special for you. (Dependent on availability of course). Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for preparation of custom orders.

I want to see your products in person. Do you have a store?

Unfortunately we do not have a store, but we have stalls at different markets around Victoria. Subscribe to our newsletter to keep up to date with which markets we will be attending every month.
